What is the Best Paper for You?

Your Paper Options

  • Standard Matte

Our standard paper is a 100# cover matte, super smooth finish paper. It feels quality to the touch, and prints with great color accuracy.

  • Premium Matte

Our premium matte paper is a 130# cover matte cardstock. It also boasts a super smooth finish. There is a noticeable increase in the quality of the feel of this paper compared to our standard matte. The print quality is essentially identical to our standard paper.

  • Linen Cardstock

Our linen paper is a popular alternative to our other matte papers. It has a noticeable linen texture that can complete a whole “feel” for your project. At 100# cover weight, it has plenty of stiffness, but it has a more delicate feel in the hand.

We have noticed that excellent photography with extra good lighting prints exceptionally well on linen. If your photo is a bit more darkly lit than it would ideally be, linen may not be your best option.

To Keep in Mind.

-Our paper is not photo paper.

All of our papers are versions of cardstock paper. The upside to cardstock is that you have nice stiff and smooth papers that present your design and photos with a lot of class. The downside to cardstock is that it is not formulated to 100% portray every color to absolute perfection. The colors are typically very close to perfect, and we are always working to dial those hues to perfection.

-Our paper is not backlit.

A fact of life in the print world is that our papers are competing with bright backlit screens displaying the same image. We believe that a physical printed photo or design is the best way to view them, and you likely do too if you are willing to pay real money to get a physical product in your hand. Just keep in mind that a photo that is almost too dark on your screen will likely appear pretty dark on a non-backlit paper.
